Free guided painting for parents and carers today
A free, beginner-friendly guided painting workshop runs at Beckenham Place Mansion today, Thursday 25 June, from 10.30am to 1.30pm. It is designed for parents and carers.
St Mary's Summer Fun Day fills Saturday afternoon
St Mary's Summer Fun Day runs at the primary school on Westgate Road on Saturday 27 June, 11am-3pm. There will be inflatables, soccer darts, barbecue food, pizza, sweet treats, a talent show, home-made goods, a treasure hunt and appearances from Bluey and Bingo.

Friday 26 June
Kenny Wonder at the Homestead, 5-8pm. Kenny Wonder returns to the decks at the Homestead Cafe in Beckenham Place Park. The Homestead event page has the evening's details.
Saturday 27 June
Hopstock closes Penge Festival, Noon-9pm. Hopstock brings beer, food and live music to Royston Field on Franklin Road for the closing day of Penge Festival. The programme is family- and dog-friendly.
Sunday 28 June
Two live sets in the Homestead courtyard, 1-5pm. The Jolly Jammers play at the Homestead Cafe from 1-2.30pm, followed by local funk band the Mayans from 3-5pm in the courtyard.
Tuesday 30 June
Pints and Paints at Three Hounds, Doors 6.30pm. Three Hounds hosts a two-hour painting session inspired by musician and artist Darren Hayman's birds painted on beer mats. Tickets are £22 including a drink on arrival; beginners are welcome and the event is for over-18s.

Copers Cope Road: The gas-works road closure continues through Sunday 26 July. Allow extra time around New Beckenham and the approach to Beckenham Junction.
Maple Road: A council road closure is scheduled to continue until Friday 17 July, affecting journeys through Penge.
Avenue Road, Hayes Lane and Letchworth Drive: Gas works bring multi-way signals on Avenue Road until Monday 29 June and on Hayes Lane through Friday 31 July. Letchworth Drive remains closed until Monday 27 July.
Beckenham Road: Council works with carriageway incursion continue on part of Beckenham Road until Monday 29 June.
