Trees on Thursday, birds on Saturday, 10am-noon. Naturalist John Wells leads an in-depth tree walk at Gunnersbury Park this morning, while Sennan from the RSPB leads a bird-spotting walk on Saturday. Each guided session costs £6 and needs booking.
Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August
Mamma Mia! and Shaun of the Dead outdoors, Doors 7pm; films at dusk. Picturehouse turns Gunnersbury Park Museum Gardens into an open-air cinema for Mamma Mia! on Friday and Shaun of the Dead on Saturday. Tickets are £20.85 and include a £7 food-and-drink credit; bring a blanket, cushion or small chair and check the Gunnersbury outdoor cinema programme.
Saturday 1 August
Walk from Boston Manor to Osterley, 11am-12.30pm. A free community walk leaves the front entrance of Boston Manor House at 11am and follows the Grand Union Canal towards Osterley Park. Arrive ten minutes early with suitable shoes and a drink; find the walk in the Boston Manor House programme.
Sunday 2 August
Middlesex Pride in Gunnersbury Park, Noon-6pm. Middlesex Pride brings a free, family-friendly celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community to Gunnersbury Park. Check the current official outdoor-events listing before travelling.
The Wind in the Willows at Kew, 11am. Ratty, Mole, Badger and Toad take over the lakeside in an interactive outdoor production for all ages. Tickets for The Wind in the Willows at Kew start at £20.90 and include garden entry.
