Saturday 4 July
Southwark parkrun, 9am. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate at this free weekly 5k in Southwark Park. First-time runners should register for parkrun beforehand and take a scannable barcode if they want a recorded time.
Meet the small animals at Surrey Docks Farm, 12.30-1pm. Get close to the farm's rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and chickens in a volunteer-led session. It costs £3 per person, needs no booking and may be cancelled if the weather or volunteer availability changes. Confirm the small-animal session before travelling.
Dungeons & Dragons summer social, 2-4pm. Try short role-playing and board games, make D&D crafts and browse game books at Canada Water Library. The free social is open to adults and children aged 10 and over with an accompanying adult, and beginners are welcome. Register before attending.
Sunday 5 July
Free sport sessions for young children, 9-10.45am. KESA runs movement and play sessions at Decathlon Facilities, 9 Maritime Street. Children aged 1 to 2 can attend free, while children aged 2 to 5 can book one free trial. Places should be booked through the KESA session page.
Guided tour of the Brunel Museum, 12.30pm. A 45-minute tour covers the Thames Tunnel Shaft and Engine House collection. It is included with museum admission, which costs £2.50 for SE16 and SE8 residents and is free for under-16s. Prebook the 12.30pm museum slot to secure a place.
British Grand Prix screening, 3pm. Corner Corner is showing the Formula 1 British Grand Prix live on its big screen, with food and drinks available from the venue's traders. The race screening starts at 3pm; book a table if you want a guaranteed seat.
Tuesday 7 July
Corner Corner Run Club, 6.30pm. Join a relaxed 5k loop around Canada Water, starting and finishing at Corner Corner. All abilities are welcome, bag drop is available and no booking is needed. See the run club information.
