Thursday 10 September
Life-science founders meet investors, 10am-8pm. The SEC Summit brings life-science founders and investors together at Canada Water for round-table conversations and activities. Attendance is curated: founders can apply for one of 40 places and investors can register for a ticket.
Make and mend at Rotherhithe Shed, 1.30-4.30pm. People aged 55 and over can bring a wobbly chair, squeaky bike or project to the free Rotherhithe Shed at London Bubble, 5 Elephant Lane. Artists and technical experts help with fixing, making and learning workshop skills; contact Time & Talents before attending.
Secret concert in the Thames Tunnel Shaft, Doors 7pm; concert 7.30-9.30pm. DEBUT brings singers, cello, piano and musical surprises to the candlelit Brunel Museum shaft for an intimate classical concert. The Brunel Bar opens before the performance and tickets must be booked.
Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September
Free skateboarding in Canada Water Plaza, 1-3pm. All ages and abilities can book free Skate Canada Water sessions, with beginner-friendly coaching, free skating and equipment provided on both afternoons.
Sunday 13 September
Try children's sports at Surrey Quays, 9-10.45am. KESA runs indoor movement and play sessions at Decathlon Facilities, 9 Maritime Street, for children aged one to five. Children aged one to two can book a free session and ages two to five can claim a free trial through the Sunday programme.
