Eden Park neighbours rally behind Londis couple
Neighbours have brought flowers and messages of support to Pritesh and Himaliben Patel at Londis on Upper Elmers End Road after malicious leaflets targeted the couple. Police said the incident, reported on 17 October, was being investigated as a potential hate crime.
Pritesh said the community’s response had helped him feel safer after he feared having to leave. The couple have run the shop for nearly 20 years. Anyone with information can call 101, quoting CAD3744/17OCT26. Read the full story in The Standard.
