Brentford Women bring a family matchday to the Gtech
Brentford Women face Newhaven at 3pm on Sunday 27 September, with the stadium open from 2pm for crafts, face painting, a DJ and other family activities. Adult tickets cost £5, under-18s go free, and members and season-ticket holders pay £1; under-14s need an adult with them. Plan the Gtech matchday.
Gtech concert plans open for comments
Brentford FC has applied to use the Gtech pitch for up to six live-music events each year between May and August, with up to 37 associated set-up, inactive and removal days. The application is under consultation until Wednesday 30 September; read the proposal and follow the council comment link.
Wedding textiles fill Osterley’s grand rooms
Osterley House’s new Journeys exhibition brings embroidered wedding shawls, baghs and phulkaris from the undivided Punjab into its neoclassical rooms. It runs from 11am to 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday, until 1 November; the exhibition is included with normal admission. See the dates and admission details.

Creepy creatures hide around Gunnersbury Park

French performers take over Bell Square, Times vary · free. Bell Square Calling: France opens with dance at 7pm on Thursday, followed by a one-day community choreography on Friday, acrobatics and hip-hop dance on Saturday, and theatrical accordion music at 2pm on Sunday. All performances and post-show conversations are free; choose from the full programme.
Friday 25 September
Walk from Boston Manor into the neighbourhood, 11am–noon · free. Boston Manor House’s free community walk offers a gentle hour outdoors with the park team. Meet at the house; booking is required through the current Boston Manor programme.
Saturday 26 September
Young writers start a free course at Osterley, 11.30am–1.30pm · free. C-Change West London’s five-session course lets people aged 16–30 explore poetry, prose and fiction, ending with a sharing evening in November. Booking is essential for the free creative-writing course.
Sunday 27 September
Browse 60 vintage traders at Chiswick House, 10.30am–4.30pm. The Lazy Flea fills Chiswick House forecourt with vintage homeware, furniture, clothes and jewellery, plus street food and coffee. Dogs are welcome; book for the vintage market.
Ealing Half runners refuel at the Lord Nelson, 11.30am–7pm. The Lord Nelson is offering a free drink to Ealing Half Marathon runners and volunteers who book in for its post-race roast gathering. Tables usually fill, so check the Ealing Halfter Party listing if you plan to join in.
