Live music proposed for Brentford stadium
A new scoping application asks Hounslow Council what environmental information would be needed for a future proposal to use Brentford Community Stadium for live music events. This is an early planning step, not permission for concerts. See Hounslow record SC/2026/1860.
Amazon seeks a premises licence on Shield Drive
Amazon has applied for a premises licence at 15 Shield Drive, Brentford. Residents can make a representation until Tuesday 21 July; the pending applications page links to the application and explains how to comment.
Gunnersbury festival changes today
A private Soho House festival runs in Gunnersbury Park today, Thursday 2 July, with live event hours from 2 to 10.30pm. Around 80% of the park remains open, but the small car park beside the museum is closed and the main car park has a one-way system. Sound checks start at 10.30am. Thursday 2 July
Stay and Play with CAMHS, 10-11.15am. Brentford Family Hub East hosts a free play session for children aged 0-5 and their parents or carers. Families can join activities together and speak to staff about concerns over a child's development. Check the current Family Hub timetable before travelling.
Friday 3 July
Dad's Play at Brentford Family Hub, 10.30-11.30am. Dads and male carers can bring babies and children aged 0-5 to a free stay-and-play session at Brentford Family Hub East on North Road. The Family Hub page also lists Friday support for infant feeding and families with non-walking babies.
Brentford Soul Allstars at the Lord Nelson, 8pm-1am. Breakin Bread DJs Skeg and Steeve the Sleeve play soul, funk, jazz and disco at the Lord Nelson on Enfield Road. Entry is free all night; the venue advises arriving early. See the Brentford Soul Allstars page.
Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July
Henry Moore After Hours at Kew, 7-10.30pm. Kew Gardens stays open for an adults-only night of dance, live art, DJ sets, illuminated sculpture, sketching and clay workshops. Free community walk to Osterley Park, 11am-12.30pm. Boston Manor House leads a free community walk to Osterley Park. Meet at Boston Manor House for the 90-minute walk; check the Boston Manor House programme before setting out.

Flowers, art and live entertainment in Chiswick, 9am-4pm. Chiswick Flower Market fills Old Market Place with around 35 plant nurseries and British flower growers. Roadworks and Transport
Allow for extra activity around Gunnersbury: The private festival in Gunnersbury Park today has no planned road closures and attendees are being told not to drive. Extra taxis and drop-offs are expected around Popes Lane, Gunnersbury Lane and Acton Town station, while the park's small museum car park is closed.
