Have your say on concerts at the Gtech

Brentford FC is exploring up to six live music events a year at the Gtech Community Stadium, held on summer weekends when the pitch is not in use. Meet the project team at Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, 1a Thomas Layton Way, on Saturday 18 July from 10am to 1pm, or at Clayton Hotel Chiswick on Monday 20 July from 5pm to 8pm. The concert consultation page will also carry exhibition material and a feedback survey from Saturday.

Free health and wellbeing drop-in next Thursday

Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre hosts a free Community Wellbeing Day on Thursday 23 July from 10am to 3pm. More than 30 health professionals will offer checks and advice, including nurses, GPs, physiotherapists, mental-health practitioners and lifestyle specialists. It is open to everyone and no booking is needed; see the Community Wellbeing Day guide.

Final days to comment on Amazon licence

Young Theatre Organist of the Year

Young players from around the country compete live on the Mighty Wurlitzer at Brentford's Musical Museum, with the audience invited to pick a winner alongside the judges. Tickets are £12 and children aged 16 and under go free; book through the Young Theatre Organist page.

Love Parks Week history tours

A guided walk through Gunnersbury Park covers its change from private estates to public parkland, including the Rothschild family's influence and surviving follies. Tours run on Wednesday 29 July at 2pm, Friday 31 July at 11am and Saturday 1 August at 2pm. Tickets are £6 from the historic tour page.

Outdoor cinema at Gunnersbury Park

Picture House brings evening film screenings to the park, with the films starting at dusk. Bring a blanket, cushion or camping chair; a limited number of deckchairs are available first come, first served. Tickets are £20.85 through the outdoor cinema page.

Friday 17 July

A walk through Gunnersbury's past, 7am-dusk. Gunnersbury Park's free outdoor photo trail opens with eight large archive pictures installed where the original scenes were captured. Pick up a free trail map from museum reception or find the photographs while exploring the grounds. Spot The Difference: A Walk Through Time runs daily until 25 February.

Saturday 18 July

Tom Gates family adventure opens at Kew, 10am-4.30pm. Kew Gardens starts a family day of live DogZombies performances, crafts, a giant doodle wall and a code-cracking woodland tree trail. Activities are included with garden entry and run daily until 31 August; the Tom Gates EPIC Adventure page has performance times and garden booking.

Tea dance at the Musical Museum, 2-5pm. Dave and Diane host an afternoon of ballroom, Latin and sequence dancing at Brentford's Musical Museum, starting with a free 30-minute lesson. A cup of tea, coffee or glass of prosecco is included in the £12 ticket; book the Musical Museum tea dance.

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde with live organ, doors 7.30pm, film 8pm. Brentford's Musical Museum screens the 1920 silent film with a live improvised score from Donald MacKenzie on the Mighty Wurlitzer. Adult tickets are £20 and include a welcome drink; book through the Summer Fright Night page.

Ealing Road closure returns on Monday: A road closure is planned on Ealing Road from Monday 20 to Friday 31 July for electricity-network work. Allow extra time and follow the signed diversion.

Gas works bring lights to Boston Manor Road: Cadent plans multi-way temporary traffic lights on Boston Manor Road from Saturday 18 to Thursday 23 July. Delays are likely while the gas work is under way.
