The Great Gatsby in the open air at Bowood

This Is My Theatre brings a live-music adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's story to Bowood House & Gardens. The show starts at 7pm and finishes at 8.50pm; take a picnic, chair or blanket and dress for the weather. Adult tickets are £20, concessions £16.50 and a family ticket for four is £60; book through Bowood.

Sunday 26 July

Park Yoga at Calne Recreation Ground, 9.30-10.30am. The free outdoor session meets by the large Park Yoga flag at the Recreation Ground on Anchor Road. On-site parking is limited, so walking, cycling or using a town-centre car park is encouraged; the Calne Park Yoga page has directions and facilities.

Roadworks and Transport

Derry Hill to Wans House signals: Two-way temporary signals are scheduled on the A342 south of Derry Hill through Saturday 25 July. Build in extra time for journeys towards Devizes and follow the temporary traffic management.

Stanier Road closure continues until Wednesday: Stanier Road in Calne remains recorded closed until 5pm on Wednesday 29 July. Use an alternative route for journeys on the northern side of town.

Bowden Hill closure planned for Tuesday: Bowden Hill House East, between the C155 and Devizes Road at Sandy Lane, is scheduled to close from 8am to 4pm on Tuesday 28 July. Plan an alternative for Lacock and Chippenham-side trips.
