Free Millennium Rocks map now available
Bromley Council has published a self-guided map for its Millennium Rocks walk, linking 19 ancient Lewisian Gneiss boulders across the borough. Printed copies are available free from local libraries, making it a low-cost science-and-walking idea for curious children. Read about the Millennium Rocks walk.
Parents can book Bromley Y's school-avoidance webinar
Bromley Y has a free live online session on Emotionally Based School Avoidance at 10am on Monday 8 June. It is aimed at parents and carers of primary and secondary-age children in Bromley borough who are managing the early stages of EBSA. Check Bromley Y's webinar calendar.
Bromley is backing Diabetes Prevention Week
Bromley Council is encouraging residents to use Diabetes UK's Know Your Risk tool and contact their GP practice for a blood test if the result shows moderate or high risk. The advice is especially useful for adults with a family history of type 2 diabetes, those who had gestational diabetes, or people in higher-risk ethnic groups.
