World Sevens starts at the Gtech today
The World Sevens Football London Edition runs at Gtech Community Stadium from Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 May, bringing eight Women's Super League sides to Brentford for a three-day seven-a-side tournament. Brentford lists adult tickets from £17, junior tickets from £5, and family tickets for the first two days; under-14s must attend with an adult. Check the World Sevens ticket update before travelling.
Gunnersbury has two half-term options this weekend
Gunnersbury Park Museum's May Play Days continue until Sunday 31 May, with a toys-and-games trail and make-and-take crafts from 11am to 4pm, priced at £3 per child with no booking needed. On Saturday 30 May, the museum also has a free Relaxed Morning from 10am to noon for neurodivergent children and young people aged 5-25, children with additional needs, and their families; booking is needed through the Relaxed Morning page.
Brentford Family Hub pauses next Thursday
Brentford Family Hub East's current timetable runs to Friday 17 July and flags no sessions on Thursday 4 June. This week still has the regular Thursday stay-and-play with CAMHS, Friday Dad's Play and infant-feeding drop-in, and Tuesday's NCT walk from the Watermans Centre bus stop; see the Family Hub East timetable.
Year 6 families can note the Brentford taster date
Brentford School for Girls lists its Year 6 into Year 7 subject taster sessions for Wednesday 10 June, 4.30-5.45pm, followed by a short presentation from the new head of year. The transition timeline says sign-up details will be sent before the evening.

Relaxed Morning at Gunnersbury Park Museum, 10am-noon. This free sensory-reduced museum opening is for neurodivergent children and young people aged 5-25, children with additional needs, and their families. Expect adapted toys-and-games activities, crafts, a chill-out room and indoor picnic room; book through the Gunnersbury Relaxed Morning page.
Company Chameleon: UMBRA at Bell Square, 1pm and 3.30pm. Watermans lists Company Chameleon's UMBRA as the next free Bell Square outdoor arts performance.
